‘Finally, a House to Uniquely Call Our Own,’ Says Couple Moving to Cookie-Cutter Hugo Development

After years of renting apartments they weren’t allowed to personalize, prospective homeowners Jason and Jessica Campbell are looking forward to expressing themselves in their own unique house that looks just like the hundred others in the new Forest Pond housing development.

The house, a 2,000-square-foot split-level with gray vinyl floors, beige siding, and a lawn exactly 3 inches high, is perfect for the couple whose individual style is to conform with everyone else.

“We would know our house anywhere,” says Jessica. “Of course, every time we come home, we always spend an extra twenty minutes driving around to find it, and we’ve accidentally broken into several neighbors’ houses thinking they were ours but that’s just part of its special charm!”

At press time, Jason and Jessica were looking to add a personal touch to their front yard by planting either a scrawny maple or even scrawnier evergreen, the two options allowed by their HOA.
