Twins Dropping 18th-Straight Playoff Game Most Predictable Part of 2020

In an unprecedented year exacerbated by a global pandemic, civil unrest, record unemployment and a bitter presidential election, the Minnesota Twins dropping their 18th-straight playoff game proved to be the most predictable moment.
“This year has been a wild ride, that’s for sure. But watching the Twins blow their 18th-straight playoff game really brought me some much-needed familiarity,” said Little Falls resident and lifelong Twins fan Carmen Jones. “I can’t imagine what October holds; maybe it will rain fire – who knows. At least I was able to watch the Twins be eliminated from the playoffs the umpteenth time. It was actually really comforting.”
“Hopefully the Vikings will get on board by tanking a promising season” Jones added, “the way things will feel a little bit better”.
