Twins Prepare for Annual Putzing Through Free Agency

When asked to comment, Twins General Manager Thad Levine was adamant to defend his strategy. “We got lucky this year, there’s no doubt about that. But maybe we didn’t? Maybe we do have the right players who just haven’t reached their prime? It’s impossible to tell.”

MINNEAPOLIS — Following Major League Baseball’s annual Winter Meetings, the Minnesota Twins have now set their sights on incompetently meandering through the offseason.

With yet another early playoff exit underneath their belt the Twins seem dead-set on staying the course with their current roster despite the rest of the league’s mad scramble to sign or trade for high-profile players.

When asked to comment, Twins General Manager Thad Levine was adamant to defend his strategy. “We got lucky this year, there’s no doubt about that. But maybe we didn’t? Maybe we do have the right players who just haven’t reached their prime? It’s impossible to tell.”

The Nordly would like to express sincere apologies for reaching out to Head of Pro Scouting Director Brad Steil and waking him up from his nap.
